• I just received this amazing bit of information from Kaseya Support pretty much confirming that they know it doesn't work. I'm not yet on K2 and I'm running Mac package 5.1.0.11. Here's the email I got from them:
We actually had a call with RealVNC Support regarding this issue and we are working with them regarding this in extended fashion currently. As such, we can do a remote session if you want to gather some logs. Tthis would be on the Win Viewing machine + the endpoint Mac acting "VNC Server" machine, however at this point RealVNC Support & RealVNC Engineering are collaborating with Kaseya Support & Kaseya Development regarding this.

As such, we can still do a remote session regarding this to get the logs, however, regardless of if we do this or not, this ticket will be updated from here with what surmises between these discussions with RealVNC & Kaseya.

Feel free to respond from here.

  • Finally got my answer from Kaseya:
As per Kaseya Development, this issue is resolved in K2 v6 VSA software and will not be resolved in v5.1 VSA software. As such, what are your plans for upgrading & using K2 v6 VSA software?
Kaseya,

That's a cop-out. You are requiring people to upgrade to K2 in order to have functionality that was advertised as included in Kaseya 2008. So, to my ears, you are admitting that you lied.

If you want people to upgrade to K2, provide them a quality product. Otherwise, stop complaining that you have to support K2008 and K2. Get you crap together!

I also have a ticket open about Mac Agent remote control and have heard nothing from them for a while. I'm still looking for the improvements in support.
