logon logoff spam in tasks & events

  • We added a customer to our KNM Test environment.

    The people who perform regular maintenance at the customer, noticed they can't see anymore, if any strange events have taken place on ESX hosts, because the eventlog is flooded with logon/logoff messaegs.

    Is there any way around this ?

  • I haven't see a way filter out specific events in vSphere Client, but you can definitely filter what you want to see. It looks as if you have a 60 seconds interval between tests. This can (and is recommended) be changed to 300 seconds for most monitors.
