After discovery is complete, the asset is detected and under assets shows the correct IP address.
However, under KNM the address shows as the asset name not the IP address.
Result, when we add a monitor it cannot resolve the address.
We found an article showing how is SQL to change the address, however this is impractical as there are many assets that are impacted.

We can see it add the IP address to the asset, however still get the same error
I had the same issue until I added forward and reverse DNS records for each asset. I also had to remove the broken asset and do another scan before I could add monitoring.
