I noticed this before when using a stand alone kaspersky install.
But when remotely connected to a machine, if i open the KAV console i am unable to click anywhere and i have to have the user click. I cant even close out the KAV box.
Anyone else having this issue?
I believe you need to disable "Enable Self-Defense". This was the case for me with older version of KAV.
That is by design (Kaspersky settings) for protection. The Self Defense component enables protection against third-party access changes.
Had the same problem today but reading here it is working per design - explanation makes sense. I closed the app by opening task manager and ending the process from there. Didn't seem to cause any problems.
