Discovers devices where agents are already installed?

Hello all,
I have started receiving notification of new devices found on a specific network we support however three of the four devices listed already have agents installed!
Has anyone ever encountered this before?
Thanks
Stuart

I haven't seen this behavior, BUT
There's a checkbox that might help.
Skip alert if MAC address matches existing agent
(on the screen you schedule the LAN Scan)
As long as the machines are only using one interface to connect to the Internet (ie, not a laptop), this should alleviate the issue.

Actually I have, it occured a couple of times, once when a new NIC was installed and another when the machine had multiple NICs and the user would randomly switch them.
Other than that no, but make sure the check box that dwujcik mentioned is ticked...
