At the end of an installation process you should be presented with a web browser page ready for log in. If there is an issue during the installation process then you may instead getoutput suchas: a partially drawn Kaseya page, asp errors e.g. “Page Cannot Be Displayed” HTTP 500.100, installINISinit.exe , installINIc.txt and Filter Body is undefined’.

Response

Check 1
Make sure in the browser on the Kaseya server that it is not set to use a Proxy. This can be checked by going to the menu bar in Internet Explorer Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections tab -> LAN Settings and ensuring that either the 'Use proxy server for your LAN’ option is unticked, or at least that the 'Bypass proxy server for local addresses’ option is ticked. Remember that the server will need direct access to the internet to pick up updates (discussed elsewhere). Look at the other checks below and then remove all Kaseya components (including Microsoft MSDE if you are using MSDE version), reboot and then reinstall.

Check 2
Ensure that any Anti-Virus software is disabled during the installation process, and that any Anti-Virus software that may interfere with Pop-ups from the browser has the feature permanently turned off, as the Kaseya server can usea pop-up feature on the server for schedulingactivities. Look at the other check below and then remove all Kaseya components (including Microsoft MSDE if you are using MSDE version), reboot and then reinstall.

Check 3
Before trying a complete reinstall you can try toreinstall the DB schema. Firstly, on the server try going to start->programs->Kaseya and selecting the 'Reinstall Schema’ option in the menu. If this does not exist, then the install may have failed earlier and could mean there are other configuration errors on the machine (check elsewhere for further details). You can try to run the schema reinstall manuallyby running the following command in the browser on the Kaseya server:
http://localhost/localAuth/installSchema.asp?localApply=true
