A little context here before I delve into what happened to cause this. I'm trying to configure the MDM/EMM, but I can't get it to send out any invitations to any email address I add. So upon discovering this problem, we reached out to the helpdesk to see what they had to say. Immediately upon remoting onto my system and logging into our VSA, they immediately noticed the issue of the lack of https and that our SSL certificate wasn't valid. I'm guessing that is what's preventing any of this from working right now.
So now that they've noticed that issue, I was then directed to follow the steps within this KB article: https://helpdesk.kaseya.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115000637668-Using-An-Existing-SSL-Certificate-R9-4-and-up I have since followed those steps, but now an even bigger problem has sprang up. The certificate is still invalid and the expiration date of it is for a date back in 2012! (as shown in image below)
Is there something that I'm overlooking in regards to the certificate configuration for the VSA?
Sounds like you need to buy a new certificate. Kaseya doesn't supply this certificate, they just use one that you supply.
