Dear all,
After Windows updates on our Kaseya server, our IIS stopt working at regular intervals.
In the Kaseya server logging we found this error: Code 0x01000000 (16777216) occurred while reapplying IIS metabase settings and NT file permissions in service startup thread.
In the Windows eventlog you will see: A process serving application pool 'ASP.NET v4.0' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '4020'.
I reported this to Kaseya's helpdesk, but no solutions was found.
After two days of troubleshooting I found a fix for this, and thought I'd share it with you all:
You will now see that all temporary ASP.NET Files are recreated, and the error is gone from the Kaseya server.
After this fix our Kaseya server was running smoothly again.
Thanks for this information. Really helpful information!
THANK you. We've been having this issue as well and putting in a ticket provided no answers. You sir; are much appreciated.
