With the introduction of BUDR 3.2 many of the VSS issues have been resolved that were previously seen in older versions of BUDR. Now that we have started the General Announcement of BUDR 3.2, we are hearing reports back of "new" VSS issues. These issues relate to customers having another or multiple backup products installed on the same machine with Acronis 9.7-8319 (the build which comes with BUDR 3.2)

Please note, Kaseya BUDR does not support having another backup product on the same machine. BUDR uses Microsoft APIs to communicate with the Volume Shadow Service (VSS) in order to backup open files. When another backup product is installed with BUDR the backup products can collide and negative results can occur with the conflicted use of VSS.
