Agent Install on Windows 7 X64 Error

  • I just deployed a client to Windows 7 X64 and I get "This Agent must register with the KServer to get a valid username and password before you can use this feature to contact your administrator". The agent does not go online at all. Any ideas?

  • Re-download the agent. Use your forced overwrite package.

    It isn't Win7 x64, it's just a random bug (I've had it on XPP).

  • It may be a DNS issue on the client machine not able to resolve the Kaseya server's IP address. Right click the Agent icon, click "Set Account" option and change the server name to it's IP address . (This fix assumes the menu option on the kaseya agent has been allowed when the agent was installed)
