Hi All
Does anyone know how if it is possible to use Kaseya to disable access to removable media such as CDROM's, floppy's, and USB drives? If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Thanks

there are scripts for it yeah
issue is if you disable USB you kill all USB - mouse / keyboard etc.
We tried this but had to buy a product to manage it.
The script pack that was made there recently for K2008 has these scripts in it
search the forum for the pack..

Procedure Disable access to usb system files.xml
We've had some luck with disabling usb drive access in a few different ways, haven't tried cd roms or floppy disks though but might try that next. I currently have one script that calls 3 subsequent scripts that disable usb drives, one that disables write capabilities in case first script fails for whatever reason, and one that renames some system files that's used by usb drives. And of course one master script that undoes all the changes as a precautionary measure. I've only tested it on XP and Vista thus far but seem to recall it requires a log out and back in if the user is currently logged on.
