Show Sage products in the kaseya Software Audit

  • I have been asked to do a software audit for a client so that we can say how many machines within their organisation. However, I cannot get the current sofware audit to accuratly show the machines that Sage products are installed to ACT! seems to appear, but I cannot get it to work for

    Sage HR
Sage Line 50 (or accounts 50)
    Sage Payroll
    and Sage Job Costing.

Does anyone else have experience in getting accurate numbers out of Kaseya for this?

    Thanks!

  • I would suggest the following.

    - select the desired Machine Group
    - go to Reports tab
    - choose the Software report
    - for Choose a report type, select "Add/Remove Programs"
    - for Add/Remove list item, enter "*Sage*" (NOTE: include the quotes)
    - for Enter title displayed on report header: type "Sage Applications Installed"
    - click the Save As button, and save as "Sage Applications Installed"
    - click Update button
    - click Run button

This should give you a list of all machines with Sage Applications installed, grouped by application.

    Hope this helps.
