  • don't use the SILENT option and ensure there is a /r in the command line for the install - recreate the agent package if you have to to get these options to show up .... then try your install

  • I too am trying to install a Mac agent for the first time and having problems. I got the agent to install successfully, but when I try to run it from Applications or a restart I get a "bad socket" error. Any thoughts on that?

  • Alex,

Not sure if this is an actual fix or not, but after updating the system to 10.4.11, the socket errors went away. I was also able to change the icon for the Mac agent (it is different from the PC agent) and push out the new update successfully. Now to try it in real life.

  • I also updated the system to 10.4.11, installed the agent as root, and rebooted.
To get the KVNC to work took two tries before the security key message came up on the Kaseya server.

Then it seems to work great for any user on the mac client.

  • What do you mean about the security key message?
The one that say no security keys?
