  • We do the exact same as VNET with

    computerid.machinegroup.servers and
    computerid.machinegroup.workstations,

    but for a few clients in multiple locations we add the location as well..

    For example,
    computerid.machinegroup.newyork.server or computerid.machinegroup.chicago.server

  • Is there a way to have more than one Email subject line Parsing rules per Exchange folder, for example something like that:

    {devicename} is {problem} OR {devicename} has {problem}

    Or i am just missing something?

  • Hi Vnet. You dont happen to have an excel spreadhseet with your rules and parsing rules do you? I am trying to do the same thing, but finding it very cumbersome. I would even be willing to pay you for them..

  • We have setup a separate email connector for "Each" type of alert. We found it's easiest for the parsing portion since each of the alert types have have different subject lines. It took me a couple hours to get ours working properly, but now it works great.

    We have a separate monitoring board which all of these funnel into. I know of some places that have separate boards for different types of alerts too. All depends upon your needs.
