BitLord 1.1 Uninstall Script

  • Thought I would share my first script which uninstalls BitLord 1.1.

I copy two files to the client enter.exe, and tab.exe both were made with the AutoIT scripting utility which can convert it's own scripts to .exe files.

I'm not 100% if what I've scripted is 'best practice' so I'm happy for some feedback / ammendments / complete re-writes! :-P

You will need to edit Step 1 in the script with your own network / software admin install/de-installdetails.

  • Good Day,

I would like to know more about your tab.exe and enter.exe scripts that you constructed.

Would you be able to provide the source on those?

  • I would like to know for several reasons, but first and foremost, I was working on an example monitor set to detail how to detect something undesireable running as a process, then detect with the monitoring tools, and also have Kaseya take the next step of uninstalling the offending application, and properly documenting, sending emails, creating log files, etc.... yada yada yada for a program like bitlord, utorrent, or any other application for that matter.

I wanted to post the final scripts, and monitor sets to show how using this example, you can mod Kaseya to detect and remove just about anything.

You can PM me or post to the forum here. Thanks and have a good day.

  • Gamer-X I created the files with the AutoIT scripting package. http://www.autoitscript.com/

The files are simply a one line script each which were then converted to a .exe format with the included .exe converter.

All the info is in the help file.

    Francis.
