As windows update files fill up c:\windows does anyone have a script to delete these files no longer needed?

I'm pretty sure these files and folders are left there incase you need to uninstall one of the updates.
It would be best to leave them alone.

no, they are safe to delete, you don't uninstall hot fixes! the new ccleaner will purge them, just wanted a 1 shot way
