Lock Keyboard and Mouse

  • Has anyone found a way to lock out the keyboard and mouse from user interaction? We want to be able to NOT allow the users access to the keyboard and mouse while we are remoted to the machine. Thank you for any help.

I have NOT used this so user beware. But this program is supposed to be able to block/unblock the keyboard and mouse.

Please let us know how it works, and be sure to test first before you use!!!!

  • I downloaded this and checked the license before scripting it. It's licensed for non-commercial use only unless you contact the developer.

  • We use UltraVNC for remote control rather than invoking it through Kaseya. It resided on all the clients. When you use the "viewer" it has an icon at the top (mouse with red X) that will blank the remote screen and disable the mouse and keyboard.

  • Still don't understand why we cannot use our own Remote software, if they can add Radmin in they can add any other Remote software in as well

Actually you can. But you would need to script your remote access product instead of them coding it for you.

  • and that is documented where, so that it is fully integrated into the product?

  • Also keep in mind that if you use your own remote software you wont be able tp take advantage of the kaseya port. Which means you will need to possible open a whole in every firewall.
