Running a batch file with parameters from Kaseya script

  • Hi,

I'm new to Kaseya, with a simple question.

Is it possible to run a batch file for example mybatch.cmd, from within a Kaseya script.
Should I use the Execute Shell command, Execute File or Execute File in Directory path. And how about parameters I want to pass to my batch file?

    Thanks
    Tijn

THANK YOU, I FOUNDTHE SOLUTION! :-)

  • Yes Totally!

You upload the batch file to your Managed Files Area (its one of the buttons in the scripts area)

Then you write the script to "Write File" the batch file

Use Execute with shell command the batch file.

  • It looks like you aren't giving it the local file path and file name to write the file to. After you write the file to say "c:\temp\file.bat", you then "Execute Shell Command" to run the batch file.

    Hope this helps.
