Using variable for Temp Directory

Hi,
Does anyone know how to use a variable to set the "Temp Directory" value for the Kaseya client.
Here's what I did,
On the menu bar, click on
Client
On Function List, click on
Temp Directory
In the field, "Set a path to a directory used by the client to store temporary files" I typed in
%windir%\temp
But this value is rejected by the system when I click on
Set
Many thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Kian Hock

If I am not mistaken I think the path has to be a real path such as C:\ or E:\. I don't think it can be a variable.
God Bless,
Marty
