Kaseya API - Anybody using, we are getting this error

  • Hi folks

    Is anybody using the API we are getting an error when trying to authenticate and get a session ID

    We think it is a kaseya issue but not sure so wanted to check with you guys.


    The error we get when using the KAseya test client is

    tem.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Error #8152: String or binary data would be truncated.

    We created an admin (master) and we are using those credentials.

    The link we are using is https://OURSERVER/vsaWS/KaseyaWS.asmx


    If anybody can help I would appreciate it, we have logged a ticket too.

    yeah it was a bug in the system

    this is the official line from the ticket (CS032763)

    "The column wsSession.hHeader definition was incorrect.  We believe this occurred due to a particular upgrade path.  I have corrected the schema on your system."

    i would say get on to support and if you want referenced that ticket so they can look it up.

    Yeah I have logged a ticket but nothing yet. I have found the correct column in SQL Management but not sure what the correct value should be.
