"Running MS Windows 64-bit (XP, Vista, 7, Server), SQL Server 2005 64-bit (and the Kaseya Server) all on a single Windows machine is not recommended due to a Microsoft issue related to MS Reporting Services. The issue is described in this article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143293(SQL.90).aspx. There is no issue if you are running SQL Server 2005 64-bit on a separate machine from the Kaseya Server."

After running a search on the Kaseya forums as well as reading this in the documentation I had a couple of questions. We are currently using Kaseya 2008 (5.1.x) with SQL 2005 STD 32-bit on Windows 2003 32-bit. At the present moment our SQL server does not even have the Reporting Services module installed. What features within Kaseya 2008 or Kaseya 2 would make direct use of the Reporting Services feature in SQL?

If we had anticipated upgrading to a 64-bit version of Windows and SQL 2005 using Kaseya 2 would it require Reporting Services to be installed?
