Faulting application name: AgentMon.exe, Event 1000

  • Greeting,

I have been tracking this error and it occurs quite frequently mostly on 64-bit systems (vista or 7). All our clients run KES.

Anyone have any input on the cause of this problem?

You should update your agent to 6.0.0.3

  • Kaseya's Answer to the Problem. Enjoy

As we work through this issue, we would like for you to update KServer.exe & Windows Agent KAgentsilent.exe to the latest pre-hotfix versions available with regards to this particular issue. As such, here is what to do:

    A) Update KServer.exe to version 6090. Download this build here:

    http://dl.kaseya.com/download/support/vsa/kserver/6090/kserver.zip

Note & Disclaimer: When applying this build, you will temporarily sever agent connections to your Kaseya Server. As such, even though this is a small window of time, plan an appropriate time to do this. To use this build, since it is not yet hotfixed, follow these instructions:

    1) Download this build via the above URL.
    2) Stop the Kaseya Service in services.msc.
    3) Navigate to C:\Kaseya\KServer - Replace 'C:\' as necessary.
    4) Rename the current kserver.exe here (such as kserver.exe.old) and then copy the new one here.
    5) Start the Kaseya Service again.

    B) Update your Windows KAgentSilent to version 6007 for these particular machines. Download this build here:

    http://dl.kaseya.com/download/support/agents/windows/kagentsilent/6007/kagentsilent.zip

Since this Agent-related file is not yet hotfixed, follow the v5.1 Windows Agent-related instructions in this KB Article for updating Agent Installation files + updating already installed previous Agent versions:

    http://portalgc.knowledgebase.net/article.asp?article=287787&p=11855

Feel free to reply from here if needed.
