Biggest folders in Disk Utilization

  • Hello,
I do not know is Kaseya 2008 is possible to do this but when I run the Report> Disk Utilization, is there a way where I could add the info of what are the biggest folders? files?

    Thank you,

  • I managed to do this via the use of a some scripts and DU.exe

The vague logic behind it is to load du on to the machine then run it against specific data folders. This generates a report which is written to a text file, then is made available via get file.

This text file I can then import into excel, and play about with. The trouble with this is you need to know which directories you need to monitor, before you start.

Its not exactly an ideal solution, but it works. I would love Kaseya to actually have this feature properly.

  • Thank you Hans and Kelway,
I will test your suggestions, It seems that besides Kaseya I will need to use many more tools, although it would be wonderful to consolidate them through Kaseya.

    Cheers,
    Ana
