Cannot get Live Connect to work

  • Where the CPU and Memory charts should appear all I get is "loading". The upper left corner says "Starting Relay".

    On the right I get Home, Agent Data, Audit Information, Ticketing, Chat, and Video Chat. All other options are greyed out. Other people can connect to this same target system without a problem. I installed the plugin when asked.

    So what's up?

  • In the Audit Information area check the agent logs (all of them), that should tell you what it's hanging on

  • In Audit Information I have 6 tabs:

    Machine info
    Installed Apps
    System Info
    Disk volumes
    Pci & Disk Hardware
    Printers

    But no logs. Where should I see them?

  • OK, no problem. I looked through all the logs and the only ones with anything in them were the script log (no errors) and the agent log. The agent log had numerous errors like this:

    7:57:47 AM 29-Jun-10 ERROR: Failed to open C:\microdata\ in checkFileWithServer

    Keep in mind that other analysts in my office can connect to this same system with live connect, so I don't know if this error is relevant.
