We are testing K2 and are trying to clarify user roles in regards to scripts and permissions.

User roles look like a great idea. We assign permission to a group, and the users immediately have those permission. The problem is that we can only assign a role to the script folder permissions (not a scope). This means that if we have a set of scripts specific to a client that we would like to share with them, we need to have a role specific to each client. That in itself is not a huge problem because we can copy permission from a role template.

The problem is that those users have to switch roles to view our shared folder and their shared folders. This seems really sloppy. Why can't I assign them to a group and give permission to the entire group? It seems as simple as that.
