  • Hi,

    We have the same problem.
Most of the agents are working fine when using live connect.
But some show the following error:

    Server Error in '/KLC' Application.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

  • I'm seeing the same issue here this morning. Although we only see it after deleting a machine's account WITHOUT uninstalling the agent, then letting the machine automatically add itself back into Kaseya when it checks in next (doing some testing).

At any rate, once the machine re-checks in and is back in its proper group, LiveConnect no longer seems to work. The same error occurs within Windows 7 & XP. Doesn't seem to be machine specific.

  • This is a known issue. Agents that are crashing go to the remote control tab and then select VNC/Terminal Server as the remote control type option and click set. For some reason even if it shows the remote control type the informaiton is blank within DB. This worked for me on all agents that were crashing.

  • We put out a hotfix that should resolve the problem by now.
