HELP! Trend OfficeScan 10 crashes agent ?

    We've noticed that a number of machines suddenly vanish offline. This happens across a number of clients and OS types, though all Windows.

    We did some tests and found that all these machines can be made to go offline by running an Audit. About 30 seconds in to an audit the Kaseya service just stops. Start it again, run the audit, it just stops.

    We found that we can work around this by disabling the Trends Office scan client. All these machines run Trends OfficeScan v10, released in May. v8 clients aren't affected.

    We've tried to add the kaseya folder and exe's to the exclude list in Trends but that didnt work and there's no sign on the trends server logs that any malware/virus activity is being detected during the audit.

    Anyone else seen this? It's causing us real issues.

    Plenty of others with this issue and no real workaround/fix found yet.
