New VSA database

  • Hey everyone,

    We're having some issues with our VSA and Kaseya support is attempting to assist us with this.

    It's causing major business impact and we're contemplating re-installing kaseya to a blank database.

    Just quickly;

    If we re-install so we're starting from scratch, will old agents still check into this, or will we have to manually create accounts for each agent in order for them to check in.

    Is there any way to keep our front-end VSA and user configurations and just blast out the database behind this, and if we do, is there any impact to doing so?

    Thanks.

  • As the agents check in, they should recreate the groups as needed.

    That is what happens when an agent is removed from the VSA and the group deleted.

  • That was my thoughts. I just had a bit of a worry that the agents will only check back in and recreate groups if they had checked into that VSA before.

    If this isn't the case, then we should have no issues re-installing everything.
