Reliability with Remote Desktop/Terminal Services. VNC Issue.

  • We have a client who insists on using VNC in it's native format to connect to their servers, They do not have an issue with Kaseya agents being on hte machine, however they would rather it use the Remote Desktop connection as opposed to VNC.

We have done this on a couple of their test servers and it has not proved to be reliable, We cannot connect to one server through remote desktop at all (it just waits and eventually says it connected but never does.)

We would love to continue letting the customer use vnc and us use it as well but is this even possible?

  • Why not give them a limited account on your K server where they can use KVNC to connect to their server?

  • They are insistent upon not logging into a console to connect, we tried that route. I actually found the answer (unlock VNC) in another post someone was great enought to post.
