Managing expectations on patching

Hi folks,
I'm wondering what is a realistic number to aim for in regards to patching. There are many variables to this, such as users turning off their machines when they leave the office, etc., preventing the installation of patches overnight. So what percentage of patches installed do you see on your systems, as reported on the Executive Summary Patch Score? I'm trying to manage client expectations without shooting myself in the foot, ie, I don't want to over promise and under deliver.
Any ideas?
