  • How do I gain access to the tables? What exactly are they?

  • I don't fully understand your question... but here it goes anyway:
Database Views (from the terms of a DBA - Kaseya excluded) are virtual tables that can be identical to a table or can be a lookup (select statement) that is run against multiple tables. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/View_%28database%29

The database views function in Kaseya can be accessed on the System Tab under Database Access. From there you can change the password for the SQL account that has access to the table views.

You must use an external application to interact with the views. You can use MS Excel, OSQL, SQL Server Management Studio Express or something else.

You can get SQL SMSE here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c243a5ae-4bd1-4e3d-94b8-5a0f62bf7796&DisplayLang=en
