End user remote access

  • We have about 30 clients that use "User Access" to access their desktops remotely via our website, server, using VNC. Lately, a number of them are reporting that when they login it asks them to change their password, and when they do, it asks again, and again, and again, ad infinitum... They're getting VERY frustrated and are threatening to cancel... Can anyone help us out here?

  • Are they being prompted to change the VNC server password, or the domain logon password? If it's the VNC server password, use Kaseya to remove and re-install VNC.

  • This happened to us right after we did the upgrade to 5.0 ... the solution was for us to manually change the password for them the first time and from then on it works for them to change it.
