Patch Mgmt and Alerts

  • Agents seem to generate quite a few errors after rebooting. I know I could use the "Suspend Alarms" function during our patching window. However, would this kill the patch alerts as well?

  • Yes it would. Is it the machine generating the errors or the Kaseya Agent? If it is the machine and the errors are event log errors, you can create an event set that ignores them.

  • It is the machine creating the errors after reboot. Mostly due to some service/process not yet running that another program needs. I really do not want to ignore them because they may be important at times other than up start-up. However, I don't want to miss the patch alerts either. I'll work something out. Smile
