New Monitor Sets?

  • In the 2008 product announcement video there was mention of new preconfigured monitor sets created by their NOC. I just checked our system and I dont see them.

    I do notice that in - System > Configure - We have; Reload sample scripts, Reload sample event sets and Reload sample monitor sets all unchecked.

    Could this be why we dont have them? Can someone let me know if the have the new monitor sets and did they have the "Reload sample event sets" checked?

    If I click the button "Reload All Samples" will this remove my existing monitor/event sets and sample scripts?

  • After I upgraded there are PAGES of new monitor sets.

  • Yes, you will need to check the "re-load monitor sets" checkbox to put these new monitor sets in place. There are tons of them!

  • Clicked the "Reload all Samples" and the new Monitor Sets appeared. Did not cause any issues with our existing Scripts, or Event sets.

  • VNET: There's nothing in the KB about what you're seeing. I would open a ticket with support (I know, we've all raised 20 tickets over the past two days Roll Eyes) It sounds like you may have gotten a bad download, or the upgrade failed to install something properly.
