I would like RSS access to this forum. I could monitor the old forum as long as my cookie didn't expire. My Google desktop didn't have a problem reading it.
Are you going to enable RSS here?

I found the instructions for the RSS feeds (links below); however, I am having difficulty getting them to work with IE7. This really should not be this difficult...has anyone else figured this out? RSS is really nice as you do not need to log into the forum unless there is a specific thread/post that is of interest. I would rather not have to log in on a frequent basis just to sift through a bunch of threads that may not interest me.

Unfortunately, my understanding is that RSS will not work in protected, non-public forums, such as this one.

On the old forum it would work as long as IE kept the cookie. If I logged out, it would not work. Just as I always stay logged into the forum and never need to enter my password, it will also stay logged in for IE7 or Google Desktop. I don't think it's enabled in the configuration.

I also would enjoy having an RSS facility.
