If a KServer patch breaks more than it supposedly fixes, is there a mechanism where we can roll back to the last working version, or are we SOL as usual with Kaseya?
I've tried to roll back patches previously - kinstall.exe can't/won't do it. Have resorted to restoring the entire Kserver from backup, however that has it's own set of annoyances e.g. loss of any changes made in the meantime.
Splitting the SQL server out to a separate box would probably help that, but since we run everything on one machine, it's an all or nothing prospect for us.
I suppose I could hack the DB and insert an older patch version number into the DB which would then hopefully trick kinstall.exe into reinstalling an older patch. Never keen to try such butchery, however!
