Kaseya could have used the December patch releases, that didn't happen, to provide fixes/improvements to KRC but they didn't. Still not been given a real reason as why there were no patch releases in December. It appears they are doing just enough on the Core product and spending most of their time on paid modules and the SAAS infrastructure.
I think I have found a workaround to the issue with configuring patch scans on template profiles.
If you open the Live Connect of the profile you would like to adjust, select the procedure in the template and select schedule. You can adjust the procedure settings in there and save it. Give it a second to update and that should be good. I am currently testing this to see if it will work.
