Does anyone know, without a shadow of a doubt, if the SQL server connection port MUST be port 1433? (The SQL default)
For various reasons I need to use another port but I can see where this could be set, or if its even a supported config.

This has already been done. But after several days the answer is still unclear. This is why I ask the community as well.
Hi jamiev what is the number of the ticket you submitted? I would like to take a look
Sorry, this is old now as I have not logged into the forum in a while. In the end the best (and perhaps only) solution to this was to use client-side SQL aliasing. This allows Kaseya to think its talking on the 'norma' port but its translated on the fly to a new server and/or port using the SQL alias.
This is not pretty or elegant. But works just fine.
Would be the best way for now, however we will need to see how it will work with the Kaseya Application Firewall. Should not be an issue, but I have not thought it through.
