QUESTION
Why after updating Kaseya 2008 system to SP1, VSA API Web Service cannot add tickets or process alarms?

Affects SQL Server 2000 installations with VSA 2008 SP1 applied and VSA API Web Services enabled.

ANSWER

API code error in SP1 release.

A hotfix has been released to resolve this issue.

Customers should navigate to System > Configure, and click the "Check For Updates" button to get the new code. Then disable and re-enble the VSA API Webservice with the checkbox mid-way down the page to force a code update.
