The VSA does not audit the Computer Description field on Windows computers. Adding a custom field and running an agent procedure supports this however.

1) Go to the Audit tab -> System Information
2) Click "New Custom Field"
3) Name the new string field as ComputerDescription
4) Import this procedure, which uses the WMI command to fetch the computer description and puts it into this new custom field. Download the XML file from here:

5) Now this field can be shown as a column on the Agent tab -> Agent Status page by using Select Columns... and adding in the new custom field ComputerDescription.

6) Any custom field data you collect can also be accessed directly from the database using the vSystemInfoManual database view.
