Does Kaseya Backup support Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 operating systems?

ANSWER

Acronis Backup & Recovery (ABR) v10 does not support Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012. At the time of writing, the latest version of ABR (11.5) does not support Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 either. Acronis expect to add support of these operarting systems in one of the next officially released updates of ABR11.5. However, support will not be added for ABR10.

Kaseya Backup v4.0 integrates ABR10, therefore support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 will not be added in this release. The next release of Kaseya Backup will integrate ABR11.5. This release will support Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 when ABR11.5 does.
